Two years ago I decided to vacation in
Las Vegas. Prior to that trip it had been 8 years since my last
visit.
Based on what I saw two years ago, I
made plans to go back again this year. For those of you who can only
think “rat pack” and showgirls, I urge you to take a closer look.
The “new” Vegas has a variety of
entertainment (headliners like Celine Dion), luxury hotels (my picks
are The Bellagio & The Venetian), the best casinos on the globe and
outstanding golf.
Some of the greatest restaurants in
the world are here from great buffets like The Spice Market at The
Aladdin to the impeccable Eiffel Tower Restaurant at The Paris Hotel
(be sure to ask for a table with breathtaking views of The Fountains
of Bellagio). World-class spas are available namely Canyon Ranch at
The Venetian.
If center strip isn’t your style, The
Hyatt & The Ritz Carlton both located in Lake Las Vegas (25 minutes
from the strip) would pamper you with the best of everything.
I stayed at The Hyatt during my last
visit and would strongly recommend the resort for families as well
as couples seeking outstanding service, great accommodations, superb
dining and a world-class spa.
