In mid
December the Norwegian Dawn sailed into New York harbor. Painted on
her sides is the Statue of Liberty, the First Lady of the Harbor.

In May 2003 the Norwegian Dawn will
take her place as the second Lady of the Harbor, making New York her
permanent year round residence.
With a capacity of 2224 guests the
Norwegian Dawn will be doing 7 night cruises to the Bahamas and
Florida treating guests to a colorful and joyous ship that is
continuing the conversion of first time and old hand cruisers to the
freestyle experience.
Do-as-you-choose is the order of the day. With a choice of 10 very
different restaurants ranging from a New York steakhouse to Tex-Mex to
Asian Fusion to 24 hours soup and burgers. Do-as-you-choose also applies
to dress from very casual to black tie and all stages in between.
The entertainment onboard is world class thrilling the audience with South
Beach Rave! Parties featuring local talent and the unusual “Bollywood”
featuring belly dancers, magicians & jugglers in the 3 level Stardust
Theater.
After the shows, guests have a choice of many other activities
such as a movie, try your luck in the casino, have a workout in the
well-equipped 24 hours a day exercise room, try the lap pool or sauna or a
massage in the El Dorado Spa or try one of the 13 bars and lounges for a
dance or to meet your fellow guests.
Children have their own space and
programs offering age appropriate activities for kids from 2 – 17.
The accommodations range from 5000 square foot villas with private
gardens to the simplest of cabins.

the Norwegian Dawn for large families with lots of space and connecting
rooms. All the accommodations are colorful and furnished beautifully with
original artwork and warm woods.
