If you are looking for a simple, uncomplicated retreat,
Blue Waters on Antigua is an excellent choice. This stunning resort was our
escape this past August for some rest and relaxation. Family owned and one
of the longest established resorts on Antigua, Blue Waters consists of 77
wonderful rooms and suites (book an oceanfront jr. suite for a more spacious
accommodation) which are well done and have attention paid to every detail
by a caring, friendly staff. If you are looking for an ultimate, waterfront
villa the award-winning Rock Cottage, perched on a secluded rocky
outcrop of the property, would provide a perfect, private getaway. This
unique accommodation provides a Jacuzzi plunge pool, 4/5 bedrooms, lounge,
kitchen, numerous sundecks and dining areas.
The staff is assigned to attend to your every request
during your stay.
Dining is very well done here with a choice of two
restaurants. The Palm Restaurant has beautiful views of the bay and
intoxicating Caribbean breezes. We agreed that Vyviens, the a la Carte
restaurant provided some of the best dishes we’ve had in any luxury resort
throughout our travel in the Caribbean.
Other points of interest are the extensive water
sports, a gym and regular evening entertainment. A weekly Manager’s
Cocktail Party by the lovely main pool was one of the highlights of our stay
followed by a fantastic barbeque of international dishes and decadent
desserts!
