"Brown’s – a reminder of the finer things in life."
"I don’t stay in a hotel, I always go to Brown’s" -

When you are visiting London a quaint, small British hotel is
definitely the way to go.
Enter the world of Brown’s! Elegance, style and grace immediately
come to mind When describing my recent stay.
Exclusivity and privacy were evident with an atmosphere rich in history.
Theodore Roosevelt was married while a guest; Alexander Graham Bell made
the first phone call from the Graham Bell Room, Rudyard Kipling wrote here
and the founder of the Hotel was James Brown, the valet to Lord Byron, not
the Godfather of Soul.
We received a warm, friendly greeting on arrival immediately putting us
at ease. The atmosphere is similar to a private club rather than a city
hotel. Antique furnishings and rich panelled wood enhance the public areas
giving an elegant feeling throughout. Brown’s is London’s longest
operating 5 star hotel.
1837, founded during Queen Victoria’s ascent to the throne, is a
classic restaurant serving sumptuous French cuisine and a cellar of over
1,000 international wines complement the experience. Chef Gregory
Nicholson has an impressive background in Michelin-starred restaurants
including L’Ortolan in Berkshire, Le Gavroche in Mayfair and the
restaurant Marco Pierre White in Knightsbridge.
Location, location, location - this is the stylish London’s Mayfair.
The many exquisite shops of Bond Street are steps away. Imagine world-renowned tea served in The Drawing
Room – Royalty for a day!
We took a wonderful stroll to Buckingham Palace and from there visited
many of our favorite places on our own. The Hop On Hop Off Bus Company is
a great, inexpensive way to see everything or if you prefer a private car
with guide can be arranged when your time is limited.
Next time you visit London be sure to request Brown’s. "It’s
the details that make the difference."
