Coral Reef Club

Resort.  Dennise recently had the pleasure of staying at Coral Reef Club in Barbados.  This lovely family owned hotel is set on 12 acres of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens.  The hotel is comprised of 88 luxurious rooms, suites, villas and newly built cottages, some of which have private plunge pools.  All the accommodations have patio or balcony and all are air conditioned.  RIGHT: Dennise and Ken find perfection at the Coral Reef Club. Cruise.  When you want to visit the top of the world there is nothing like an Orient Lines Cruise to the Baltic.  We flew in to Copenhagen to start our travels visiting Tivoli Gardens before embarking on our outstanding adventure onboard the award-winning  Marco Polo.  The friendly crew provided excellent service as we eased our way in and out of the interesting ports on this intimate, elegant ship.  Details.

Sandy Lane – “A Secret Place”

Resort.  Sandy Lane has been considered the premier address in the Caribbean since the first guests were welcomed in 1961 and preferred by royalty, movie stars and many of the world’s most discriminating personalities. From the first moment Dennise and Ken arrived, they realized that Sandy Lane was like no other hotel they had ever been to. As the Bentley Limousine passed through the gates into the driveway and we got our first glimpse of the creamy coralstone building shimmering in the sunlight with the sapphire Caribbean in the background. Details.

Blue Waters:  Superb Gem on Uncomplicated Antigua

Resort.  If you are looking for a simple, uncomplicated retreat, Blue Waters on Antigua is an excellent choice.  This stunning resort was our escape this past August for some rest and relaxation.  Family owned and one of the longest established resorts on Antigua, Blue Waters consists of 77 wonderful rooms and suites (book an oceanfront jr. suite for a more spacious accommodation) which are well done and have attention paid to every detail by a caring, friendly staff.  Details.
